I have friends that are gay, I have friends who are black, and I have friends of different nationalities. How does that make me racist? How does my criticism of Shani Davis's antics during the olympics make me racist? I do plan on writing an entry criticizing Bode Miller for his latest antics, does that make me racist? I don't have anything against Shani Davis being black, but I do criticize him for not representing his country the way an olympic athlete should. I also criticize him for disrespecting his own teammates the way he did.I have played team sports and I have never disrespected my teammates. I am far from jealous. I am actually glad not to be in his shoes because I would not want to have his personality or attitude. Considering this is a public blog, if you don't like what I put in here then don't read it. Nobody is forcing you to read this. It is that simple. |

U.S. speedskater, Shani Davis, is the biggest asshole in sports. He is supposed to be in Italy representing the U.S. He has not done that. By pulling out of the team competition, arguing with teammates, criticizing the U.S. olympic team, he has demonstrated that he is a selfish prick and is only there for himself. He has dropped out of the 10,000 meter to come back to the states to pursue his lawsuit against the Chicago police department. He claims that in 2001 he was pulled over by an officer in Chicago because he was black. What a crock of shit. He does not care about anyone except himself and he is just trying to get rich quick. Shani Davis does not deserve to be a part of the U.S. olympic team. If any company signs him to represent their product I will definetly be boycotting that company. Shani Davis is not a "true" American. |

Well, fantasy baseball is starting soon. My draft is the night of the 16th. I'm not sure who I am going to take in the first round. Any suggestions?
The U.S. women's and men's ski teams were supposed to be the best in the olympics this year and they sucked. No medals this winter olympics in the downhill events. |

I'll be writing in LJ off and on. It may be days between entries though because of my busy schedule. A recent gripe I have had is with Olympic mens hockey. As you may know I am a huge hockey fan. I love the olympics and I love hockey, but I do not like the fact that they use nhl players. If I wanted to watch nhl players play against each other I would watch an NHL game. They need to go back to using amatuers and college players. Do you remember the 1980 olympics? The U.S. hockey team, cosisting of college players that most people had never heard of, upset the russians, the best team in the world. I was only 6 years old but I remember watching the game on t.v. with my dad. That is what dreams are made of and that is what inspires us as human beings. I would love to see the day that olympic hockey went back to using college players. This is just another example that things do not always change for the better.
My fav NFL team won the superbowl. Go Steelers!

It has been so long since I entered anything into this journal. Well, things have changed so much for me over the past 7 months. I am happier now than I ever have been. Mostly because I have finally found my soulmate. I have been with her for 6 months. Our love for each other runs deeper than any ocean. And yes we are eventually getting married. I have also started a job that I love. I spent about 2 months deciding if I should go back into restaurant management. I decided to do it. Eventually I am going to open my own restaurant. But the most important entity in my life is the love of my life, Maria. Maria has helped me mature in so many ways. When we are not together a piece of me is missing. It is like our souls and our hearts have fused together to become one. I have never been happier. And so closes the next to the last chapter of this book. There is still one more chapter left but this is my last journal entry. I'm sure everyone can figure out what happens in the last chapter. I already hinted, "Maria and I are eventually getting married". |

Someone left me a nice comment calling the woman I wrote about in my previous entry a "hoar". Learn how to spell. The word is "whore". Just cause we got a little kinky does not mean we had sex. Besides she is a friend of a friend, and since that night she and I have gone out a couple of times. wait, I don't need to explain myself to whoever you are. Listen here little one, I can get it whenever I want it because I have many female friends who love me. But , believe it or not, I am looking for someone to settle down with and start a family. I think it is really cool that my friend is trying to set me up with some of her friends. Who knows maybe this is the one or maybe not. But I know my soul-mate is out there somewhere. You can tell me who you are. I'm not gonna get pissed off. If you don't want to reveal yourself, that is fine by me. It will just demonstrate your immaturity. I am feeling sooo much better now. I had a fantastic night with some friends Thursday night (the night did include me getting whipped by some woman I didn't even know. She took off my belt and beat my ass red. omg! I loved it. It has been quite a while since I have engaged in the kinky things I did years ago. |
